BRAND NEW

completely new; never used

NEW

already existing but seen, experienced, or acquired recently or now for the first time.

When God, your God, ushers you into the land he promised through your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give you, you’re going to walk into large, bustling cities you didn’t build, well-furnished houses you didn’t buy, come upon wells you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive orchards you didn’t plant.  Deuteronomy 6:10-11 MSG

NEW

just beginning or beginning anew and regarded as better than what went before.

Anew

once more; again.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”  Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”  When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.  Luke 5:4-7 NIV

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.  Isaiah 43:19 NIV

Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.  Isaiah 43:18 NIV

Step 1: Don’t Get Trapped In The ‘Has Been’

Trap

a device or enclosure designed to catch and retain animals, typically by allowing entry but not exit or by catching hold of a part of the body.

1) Confront What’s Trying To Control You

2) Forgive… Even If You Didn’t Get An Apology

3) Be Done!

DWELL:

to live in a particular place

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Romans 12:2A NIV

4) Distance Yourself From ALL That Reminds You Of The Past

Step 2:  Recognize What “Is”

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? Isaiah 43:18-19A NIV

Perceive

To notice or become aware; to acknowledge; to understand

to think of (someone or something) as being something stated

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he Proverbs 23:7 KJV

All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me].  Mark 9:23B AMP

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.  Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV

Step 3: Live In The Expectation Of What ‘Will Be’

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  Matthew 19:26B NIV
