Since Summer doesn't officially end until September 27, we’re extending the rhythm of inspiration through the month of September!
Over the last month, we were reminded that we are God's chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people through the message, "Not Like Us," inspired by Kendrick Lamar's recent release. In the past two weeks, we used the rhyme and reason from Kendrick Lamar's 2015 hit single, "Alright," to reinforce Romans 8:28: "And we know that God works together all things for good to those loving God, to those being called according to His purpose," through the 2-Part message, "We Gone Be Alright." Last Sunday we brought August to a close by taking a brief trip down memory lane and reliving DJ Kkaled's 2022 smash hit, "GOD DID"!
This Sunday, we'll continue our journey by taking a brief trip down memory lane, drawing inspiration from Janet Jackson's 1987 hit, "The Pleasure Principle," from her third studio album, Control to explore how we can find true fulfillment and joy by aligning our lives with God's purpose.
