FAITHuary: Miraculous Faith – Sermon Notes

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”  Matthew 17:20 NIV

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:  Proverbs 23:7 KJV

Then touched he their eyes, saying, according to your faith be it unto you.  Matthew 9:29 KJV

Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.”  Matthew 9:29 NLV

Miracle:

A highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences, that is not explainable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” 2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV

 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalms 35:27 KJV

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 2 KJV

And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; Deuteronomy 28:13 KJV

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,.”  Ephesians 3:20A KJV

1.         You MUST Believe

Jesus said unto him, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 KJV

2.         Visualize Your Miracle

“…Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless” Genesis 15:2 KJV

He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring[d] be.” Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness. Genesis 15:5-6 NIV

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”  Mark 5:27-28 NIV

3.         Speak ONLY What You Seek To See

calleth those things which are not, as though they were. Romans 4:17B KJV

“Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?”  Matthew 7:7-11 MSG

4.  Watch Who’s Around You

And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith. Matthew 13:58 NIV

I promise that when any two of you on earth agree about something you are praying for, my Father in heaven will do it for you. Matthew 18:19 CEV

5.  Expect Miracles

In the morning, O LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my plea before You and wait in expectation. Psalms 5:3 NIV

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV
